These small plugs are essential to maintaining your rubber tips, failure to have these inserted correctly will result in much faster wear and tear of your ferrules.
The replacement grey plugs sit inside the bottom of Cool Crutches and Walking Sticks. When you remove or change your rubber tips, please check your plugs are properly pushed in to the bottom of your sticks as per the photographs. Over time it's possible these will wear, come loose or become lodged into a ferrule. If this happens you can easily replace before adding new ferrules onto your sticks.

Bespoke crutches and walking sticks
For all bespoke orders (UK and international), the last order date for guaranteed Christmas delivery is Friday 4th December.
Our design studio is closed from 23rd December to 4th January, so bespoke orders placed in that time will be ready to ship from Tuesday 12th January.

We offer FREE delivery on all our personalised products over £100, however due to their bespoke nature take between 7-10 working days from order to delivery. Please note, personalised orders are non refundable.
International Delivery
We are dedicated to ensuring smooth and speedy international delivery, please be aware charges and estimated delivery times will differ depending on exact locations & addresses. All local charges and customs are calculated at checkout and paid with your order. This means no additional charges will be due on delivery.
Please note if a refusal of delivery is made, the refunded amount upon receipt of the returned goods will deduct the total amount charged for original shipping plus any return shipping charges too.
Please also note international orders are not eligible for returns. Should you have an issue with your order when it is delivered we will endeavour to replace / refund as fast as possible.

I bought a cane with a regular ferrule for work but swapped it out for an all-terrain one to take a trip to Vietnam and Cambodia. It made a huge difference to my ability to see temples, markets and get on&off boats. My trip would not have been the same without it.
I just bought a replacement pair of crutches. that’s not normally a glowing report if you’ve had to buy replacement pair but bear with me.
I bought my original pair a year ago after having bought a right cane and then a left cane to use them as a pair. I liked them so much I thought I would give the crutches a try and see if they were any more helpful. They literally changed everything. Most of the time I only need one but sometimes I need two for extra balance and mobility.
I recently took a trip back to Canada, where I’m originally from. One of my friends there has been struggling to find a suitable walking aid, and even her physiotherapists were unhelpful and prescribed her something completely unsuitable for her needs. She saw my crutches and asked where I got them because she thought they could help her. I let her try them and they are absolutely so much better for her than the poles she had been advised to get.
It would’ve cost her way too much to order them from the UK to Canada with shipping, etc, and I had brought some collapsible canes just in case of emergency, so near the last days of my holiday I left those crutches with her and just use the canes for the last couple of days.
Just using those regular cheap collapsible canes for that couple of days was a very good reminder about how good these crutches truly are. I was in agony, and even though they were a support and did help some, they were not the amazingly supportive and strong crutches I had become accustomed to. I actually ordered a new pair before I got home in the hopes that they’d be here for the day after I got back, and they were.
I can’t speak highly enough of these crutches or canes or any of the supplies that this company deals with. They are truly a lifesaver, and the fact I’ve been able to pass them on to a friend in another country who desperately needed them as meant a lot to me as well.
If you are looking for a pair of sturdy strong crutches that will support you in so many more ways than the normal cheaper ones, I cannot recommend these highly enough. They are worth every penny.

VAT exemption means you don't pay the standard 20% VAT on the price of mobility aids. VAT relief is available on our crutches and walking sticks when they are for someone using them long term. Not sure if you qualify? Take the test.
All of our adult walking sticks and crutches are suitable for heights between 4"10 and 6"4 and have a maximum user weight limit of 150kg. Please note our children's crutches have a max user height of 4"7 and weight limit of 100kg.
