A folding walking stick, also called a foldable, collapsible or fold away walking stick, splits into sections held together by an internal cord and sets up in seconds. Folding or standard walking stick?

Choose a folding walking stick if you need support some of the time, travel often, or want one you can tuck away at a restaurant, the theatre or on the train. Choose one of our standard walking sticks if you use a stick all day, are taller than 5ft 10in or shorter than 5ft 2in, or need support over 100kg.

How to set up and fold your stick

To open it, hold the handle, let the sections drop and pull until it clicks into a full length stick. To fold it, pull the bottom section down to release the lock, and the sections fold together on the internal cord. To adjust the height, release the clip, slide the inner pole to your height and click the clip back into the hole. Watch our how to videos for a demonstration.

Looking after your folding stick

The neoprene grip is machine washable. Keep the sections dry before folding them away, and replace the ferrule when the tread wears smooth. All our ferrules are 19mm.
